That's right boys and girls, the Perry swap meet is just around the corner. This count-down timer will serve as a reminder as the date to Perry approaches. Hopefully, you saved some of your Christmas money in hopes there is something there you can't come home without. Start making your lists; your sell list and your buy list. Dave Williamson was fortunate to get three tables very close to the corner in the Miller-Murphy-Howard building. Thank you, David. Table numbers are Z3,Z4 and Z5. Click for picture. If we get there early enough, we can claim some of that valuable real estate in the corner...and get a parking spot inside the fence next to the building.
Hopefully, the economy won't have a negative effect on the turn-out of sellers and buyers. Last year wasn't too bad. There were quite a few empty tables and foot traffic wasn't as heavy as previous years. The GAMA site states that all tables are sold out. Although, they always sell out on the tables, so that's not always an accurate prediction of turn-out.
Here is a link to the GAMA website with specifics on the show. LINK
You should make your hotel reservations soon if you plan to go down Friday morning and staying through Saturday afternoon. The Holiday Inn of Perry is nice enough and they have a buffet breakfast included with your room rate.

Russell's Fokker DR1 maiden flight. (video)

Russell's Fokker DR1. Wingspan is somewhere in the neighborhood of 88 to 98 inches. It's powered by a G-62 and flies quite well as the video illustrates.
