These classic pattern pictures were submitted by David Phillips and are classics themselves. He sent a CD with 34 pictures scanned from snapshots along with descriptions for all the images. It's great to see pictures from past pattern events and I'm sure people who were there will appreciate them. I felt these pictures deserved their own page for several reasons; 1. they are from one person. 2. If there is enough interest and enough pictures to warrant, I will start a series of pages that highlight a particular pattern event or meet.
These pictures are over 30 years old and have color shifted. I made an effort to color-correct the images and render the planes' color schemes more accurately. I really just wanted to see if I could do it and they turned out pretty good.
I extend my immense gratitude to David Phillips for these images...and he says he has more! Thanks again!
